Are you an adult store or a kids store?

• Both! We have something for everyone, from infants to grandparents to pets! In our brick and mortar store at 336 E. Lake Street, one side of our store is dedicated to kids’ clothes and gear, and the other side is for adults and pets.  But online, it’s even easier to access the gear and clothes you need!

Do we have more than one store?  

• The store has been located on Lake Street in Petoskey MI and owned by the same family for 26 years!  It is currently the only brick and mortar store.  

Why do I have to pay for shipping? It’s free on some of the *unnamed* big sites.

• We are a small brick and mortar store in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan. We do our best to provide you with the absolute best in customer service, for the best price. Shipping has gotten too expensive for us to cover the cost completely, but we do offer a flat rate and free returns and exchanges. We also have free shipping promotions throughout the year, so it is worth getting on our email list!

How often do you put new products online?

• We get new shipments every day in the store.  We post on facebook, instagram, and google about our new products.  Follow us to get the most up to date info!

Why don’t you sell some brands you carry on your site?

• As a small store, it can be hard to get permission from some of the big brands to sell their products online. Please visit us at 336 E. Lake Street, Petoskey, MI to see our selection of awesome clothes and gear.

Why don’t you sell Osprey on your site?

• We carry a great selection of Osprey packs and accessories in the store at 336 E. Lake Street in Petoskey. If you go to the Osprey.com website, you can purchase Osprey from us through the locally.com connection!

How do you clean waterproof and/or technical clothing?

• We recommend Nikwax to help protect the technical aspects of the gear and/or clothing (if it is waterproof or down). The chemicals found in traditional laundry soap can break down the special technical fabrics. And it is very important to clean your gear and technical clothing because the dirt from normal use will erode the coatings and treatments!

Do you sell adult shoes?  

• We can finally say YES! We’re so excited to be offering adult shoes and are actively working on expanding the selection. More styles and sizes coming your way soon!
